Challenges of preschool education in times of COVID-19

Abstract
At the end of 2019, China detects the appearance of a new virus associated with SARS-CoV-2, known as COVID-19. A few weeks later, at the beginning of 2020, the world's population is alarmed by the rapid expansion, which is causing security measures to be taken in all aspects of human social life. The radical measure being confinement and consequently education faces a new pedagogical model of learning. As a result, preschoolers are leaving their magical world of fun and tackling a technological world that they had not handled before. This article analyzes and reflects on the educational reality of preschoolers and considers the following aspects as contributions: a) provision of technology, b) socio-emotional area, among them the breakdown of social relations and the feeling of attachment. Challenges to be considered by each government ministry to ensure the quality education that is proliferating.
