Abstract
In this editorial of the second issue of 2019 of our beloved CienciAmérica Magazine, I have invited one of the most talented scientists from the brother country of Peru, so that we can analyze a topic of central interest and that many times, we do not have total clarity of the details that should be present to write it: the title of an investigation. To achieve this, then, together with Tomás Caycho-Rodríguez, we present a brief analysis of the reality that exists in the presentation of research titles of academic works carried out in Peru and Ecuador, to later expose what is proposed as titles in journals of high global impact, to close the topic with some ideas that should be borne in mind when proposing a research title.
