Employability in Ecuador from a gender perspective
##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
Employability in Ecuador in the last 11 years has undergone major changes, from the incorporation of women in hierarchical positions that involve decision making, to the definition of public and private employability policies that make visible the application of participation practices and gender. OBJECTIVE: The research aims to identify gender inequalities in the indicators of employability in Ecuador between 2007-2018, through a descriptive - exploratory analysis of the Structural Business Survey (ENESEM) with a cut-off to March 2018. METHOD: used an inferential quantitative analysis methodology and a probabilistic type sampling to select the population in which the analyzes were made. RESULTS: The analysis of the data obtained in the ENESEM survey made it possible to show differences in the application of employability between genders, thus making visible the inequities in their incorporation. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSIONS: The results will redefine the employability policies related to gender and be a theoretical contribution to their sociocultural and economic analysis.
